It was an honor to attend a holiday party at the home of Foodie Empire Honoree Som Kesa and her husband Larry. The decorations were beautiful, the guests were wonderful with so many amazing stories and the food of course, was unlike anything I've ever tasted before (as is always the case when being treated to Som's cooking).
Thank you Som and Larry for being wonderful, welcoming hosts and it's been such a joy getting to know you this past year.

My absolute favorite dish of the night, which I will now spend my days and nights craving forever, was the Cheese Enchiladas Cooked in Banana Leaves with Chicken Panang Chipotle Sauce, similar to this dish (with Chicken Panang Mole Sauce) Som created for a recent party that she catered.
